Child Safety Standards

Effective date: July 16, 2026

These standards apply to Sek, a dinner planning app for friends and families. Sek has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, or any attempt to sexualize, exploit, or endanger a child.

Prohibited conduct

Users must not upload, create, share, request, promote, or coordinate content or conduct involving child sexual abuse or exploitation. Users must not use Sek profiles, dinner names, chat-like coordination text, invite links, images, or support channels to exploit or endanger children.

Reporting

Anyone can report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation involving Sek by emailing support@getsek.app. Reports should include the dinner name, invite link, account email, screenshots, or any other details that help us identify the issue.

Review and action

We review child safety reports promptly. When we find violating content or conduct, we may remove content, disable accounts, preserve relevant information for safety and legal review, and report apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation to the appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

Legal compliance

Sek complies with applicable child safety laws and cooperates with lawful requests from child safety organizations, law enforcement, and platform safety teams.

Prevention

Sek limits sharing to dinner collaboration features and does not provide public feeds, open discovery, or anonymous public messaging. We still treat child safety reports as urgent because private or invite-only tools can be misused.
